Fred Dealers Wanted
FRED is designed primarily for retail furniture stores, though,
of course, any business that does retail installment financing
could make use of it. We want dealers to sell FRED nationwide.
At this time we will work with anyone who
wishes to resell Fred Calculations Only, but the full version,
Fred98 is not ready for distribution and we do not have a definite
date in mind, so we are not making any arrangements for dealers
for this version of the software at this time.
Who would be a good dealer?
Anyone who is already dealing with furniture stores is a great
potential dealer for this software. This is an opportunity to
make the time you spend at these stores worth much more to you
- and to your clients. We also have a furniture retailer
who has our software and is selling to others in his buying group
and planning to display at some shows. This software originally
started (as TWP and IHMS) through an insurance company providing
credit insurance to furniture stores. There is a natural tie-in
here between the software and its calculations of insurance premiums
and the insurance representative.
Who are the potential clients?
Since all of our current clients are small to medium size furniture
stores, this is the primary target client. Of course, anyone who
sells anything on credit terms with a financial contract is a
potential client. If they need to calculate finance charges, payments,
and, possibly, credit insurance premiums, they are a good possibility.
Over a period of time, it will cost a store about 70
cents a day* to have Fred Calculations Only software, and
undetermined for Fred '98.
So little to quickly calculate all of their contracts and print
them out. And just a little more to have Customer Database, Inventory
and Accounts Receivable software to manage all in-house accounts.
Any store will save the price of Fred '98 just by using it to
print forms... everything else it does is a bonus!

suggested software price, plus support fees, over a 5 year period.
The suggested price is $295. for Fred Calculations Only and undetermined
for Fred '98. Every dealer is free to sell at whatever price
he chooses and we do not highly publicize the suggested price.
Profit Potential
There is an excellent profit potential with this software. On
the low end, Fred Calculations Only software, the suggested retail
is $295.00 (single user version) and the wholesale is $100.00.
The full capability Fred ‘98 software will be competing with
products that are priced in the $6,000 and up range and will wholesale
to allow for a large margin (please call for specifics, we do
not publish our wholesale price here). There is no software
investment required and demo versions are provided free.
